MONSTER MANIA XIV update part trois

Home again, home again...greetings, loyal readers, dudes and dudettes, Bill here with a final update on the con. I'm actually home in Buffalo now, after a long drive home.

After sleeping in (kinda) this morning, Dan and I got our shit organized and packed, and loaded up the trunk of the Radiation Roadster (i.e., my Hyundai Elantra) before heading back in. Walking into one of the rooms celebrity guests were in, I managed to chat with, get my picture taken with, and get the autographs of three-quarters of the NIGHT OF THE CREEPS Reunion, specifically Tom "Detective Cameron" Atkins, Jill "Cynthia Cronenberg" Whitlow, and Steve "J.C. Hooper" Marshall. All three were an absolute delight to talk to -- Jill's voice is still as adorably squeaky as it was in 1986, and Steve seemed really touched that I got choked up at J.C.'s death the first time I watched CREEPS.

Having spent every last nickel I brought with me, I took one last cruise through the vendor's area, passing out Radiation-Scarred Reviews advertising, hugged Fright Rags' PR Kommissar Kristy goodbye, called up the Vault Master to wish him well, and tearfully bid goodbye to Cherry Hill for the time being.

My grand-total haul of swag is...

I'm really happy with how the con turned out, and am looking forward to doing this again as soon as I feasibly can.
